"Sometimes it’s pretty cool to be the one-off, the oddball with a business and vacation rental property that not only doesn’t fit the mold, but quite frankly refuses too. Love being an outler - highly recommend it!!" Love Jim for sharing the exciting news about his big nomination for Unique & Unusual Stays. "Do you know what products your housekeeping team is using for cleaning and laundry? Are they using the correct dilutions for concentrated products?" Sallie learned this one the hard way with Fabulosa, Febreeze (ie. headache and nausea).
"Do you all warn guests that ants are a possibility? How about other critters? We host in a rural area and there are so many possibilities! We've had guests leave and demand full refunds if they see a spider, ants, and other critters. I'm working on an addition to each homes' listing - as common sense seems to no longer be so common." Megan shares the verbiage she's got to get started and is looking for input.
Craig shares the delicate balance between expectations setting and pricepoint with his Rolling Stones approach..."You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, well, you might find. You get what you need."
